    Career

    • In the early 1960s considered one of the best young modern poetesses in the Soviet Union. Became known as a member of the group which consisted of Evtushenko, Voznessenskii and others (oboima). Married Evtushenko. Later divorced and remarried to the well-known Soviet writer, Iu.

      Nagibin. Remained a distinctive neoclassical voice in modern Russian poetry, though her early promise faded somewhat over the years.
