Dmitrii Vladimirovich Akhsharumov organized the RMO (Russian Musical Society) and the Symphony Orchestra in Poltava. He made guest appearances with his orchestra all over Russia. Gave concerts in Germany, Baltics countries. Dmitrii Vladimirovich created a symphony orchestra (1898), opened the department of the Imperial Russian Musical Society (1899) and the Music School (since 1904 the director). He performed tours with the orchestra. Performed in 1904, 1909, 1910, 1912, 1913 in Voronezh. In 1926-1929 Dmitrii Vladimirovich was the chief conductor of the Voronezh Symphony Orchestra.
