Babadzhanian, Amazasp was born on February 18, 1906 in the village of Chardakhly, Azerbaidzhan. Son of an Armenian peasant.
Joined the Soviet Army,
1925. Participated in the SovietFinnish war, 1939-1940. Became known as a talented tank forces commander during World War II. Head of the Soviet Tank armies, 1969-1977.

The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
