    • Professor at the Moscow Conservatory, 1917. With the Bolshoi Theatre from 1919. Was praised by V. Lenin, who was among the audience at a private concert given at the house of M. Gorkii’s wife, E. Peshkova.

      Emigrated, 1923. Guest appearances in many countries. Conductor with the Stockholm Opera from 1941.
