Stars in the Morning Sky (A. Galin) 1988. Drama teacher for 20 years, mainly at the Leningrad Theatre Institute. Took over as the director of the Leningrad Malyi Theatre in 1983 after being a guest director there. Staged various foreign and Soviet plays including V. Rasputin’s Live and Remember.
In 1988, brought his production of Stars in the Morning Sky by A. Galin to Britain. Received overwhelming acclaim from the British press.
