  • Faier, Iurii was born on January 17, 1890 in Kiev.

  • Education

    • Graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, 1909.


    • From 1906, violinist, soloist, and first violinist with various orchestras. First violinist and conductor at the Riga Opera, 1909-1910. With the Zimin Private Opera, Moscow, 1914-1915.

      From 1916 first violinist and soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre, and from 1919, conductor at the same theatre. Conducted over 50 ballet productions. Worked closely with all leading choreographers at the Bolshoi Theatre.

      Several State Prizes.
