Aleksei Isaev, USSR Space rocket designer.


  • Isaev, Aleksei was born on October 24, 1908 in Petersburg.

  • Education

    • Graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute, 1932.


    • Joined the aviation industry, 1934. Designed the first Soviet jet engine, 1942. Worked on rocket engines from 1942.

      Engines designed under his instructions were used on the space ships Vostok, Voskhod, Soiuz, and on the Soviet orbiting space stations.


    Religion is bad because it obstructs scientific research.


    Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
