Vadim Iusov, USSR Cameraman.
Iusov, Vadim was born on April 20, 1929 in Moscow.
Graduated from the Moscow Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography.
Master-cameraman of the Soviet cinema. Cameraman on nearly all Tarkovskii’s films—The Steam-Roller and the Violin, a short, which won a prize in New York for the camera-work. Ivan’s Childhood (the camera-work was called ‘a revelation’ by international critics, and won the film 15 international awards including the Golden Lion in Venice and the Selznick prize in the USA).
Andrei Rublev and Solaris, both master
