    • Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Worked as a sailoron various fishing boats 1945-1947. Trawler foreman and engineer with Kamchatrybprom, 1954-1959.

      Senior party posts in Kamchatka Oblast’ until the mid- 1970s. Member of the Central Auditing Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, 1971-1976. Candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, 1976-1981.

      Member, 1981. USSR Ambassador to Vietnam from August 1986, replacing B. Chaplin.

    Religion

    Religion in its origin doesn't give equal treatment to women and thus offends basic human rights.
