Nikolai Mikhailovich Kulagin

Nikolai Kulagin, USSR Entomologist, zoologist.


  • Kulagin, Nikolai was born on January 19, 1860 in the village of Shilovichi, near Smolensk.

  • Education

    • Graduated from Moscow University in 1884.


    • Worked at the University until 1911. Academician, 1913. Professor at Moscow University 1919, where he founded the entomological laboratory which he headed until his death. World authority on apiary and on agricultural pests.


    Religious faith contradicts people’s efforts to obtain the truth about nature and a human being.


    Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
