    • Graduated in medicine from Kharkov University, 1910.


    • In the army during World War I. Drafted into the Red Army, 1918. Director and Chief Surgeon of the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Defence, 1923-1943 (later renamed, in his honour, the P. V. Mandryka Military Hospital). Major-general, 1943.


    Religiously inspired people justify violence, resist social changes, and attack on science.


    Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
