  • Mochulskii, Konstantin was born on January 28, 1892 in Odessa.

  • Education

    • Graduated from Petersburg University in 1914.


    • Lecturer at the same university, 1916-1920. Emigrated in 1920. Taught at Sofia University, 1920-1922, then at the Sorbonne, 1924-1944, and at the St. Sergius Theological Institute, Paris, 1937-1947. Wrote classical studies of Vladimir Solov’ev, Fedor Dostoevskii, Aleksandr Blok, Andrei Belyi and Valerii Briusov.


    Religion is bad because it makes people base the way they run their lives on a falsehood.


    Every Soviet citizen has rights to express his or her opinion, but it should be in accordance with the general interests of the society.
