Lecturer at the same university, 1916-1920. Emigrated in 1920. Taught at Sofia University, 1920-1922, then at the Sorbonne, 1924-1944, and at the St. Sergius Theological Institute, Paris, 1937-1947. Wrote classical studies of Vladimir Solov’ev, Fedor Dostoevskii, Aleksandr Blok, Andrei Belyi and Valerii Briusov.
