    • Conductor of the S. Kusevitskii Orchestra in Moscow, 1912-1917. Chief conductor with the Kiev Opera, 1925-1929. His pupils include N. Rakhlin.

      Conductor of the All-Union Radio Great Symphony Orchestra from 1930.
