  • Panin-Kolomenkin, Nikolai was born on January 8, 1872 in the village of Khrenovoe, now Bobrovskii district, in the Voronezh Oblast’.

  • Career

    • Only Russian gold medallist at the 1908 Olympic Games. 1st prize at the World Championship, 1903, and European Championship, 1904, 1908, in figure skating. Repeatedly Russian champion in pistolshooting, 1906-1917.

      Taught figureskating in Leningrad from the 1930s. Taught at the Leningrad Institute of Physical Culture.
