Maks Reiter, USSR Col.-general.

  • Education

    • Graduated from the Frunze Military Academy, 1935.


    • On active service during World War I as a colonel. Joined the Red Army, 1919. Took part in the Civil War.

      Joined the Bolshevik Party, 1922. Took part in World War II. Commander of the South Urals military district, 1943-1945. Head of the Vystrel Courses, 1946.


    Religion is bad because it divides people, and is a cause of conflict and war.


    The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
