Eldar Aleksandrovich Riazanov
Eldar Riazanov, USSR Film director.
Riazanov, Eldar was born on November 18, 1927.
Pupil of Grigorii Kozintsev and Sergei Eisenstein.
In 1944, entered the Directors’ Faculty of the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. One of the best comedy-makers in the Soviet Union. Carnival Night, made in 1956, starring Liudmila Gurchenko, became a Soviet classic.
