Nikolai Semenovich Skripko

Nikolai Skripko, USSR Marshal.


  • Skripko, Nikolai was born in 1902.

  • Career

    • Joined the Red Army, 1919. Took part in the Civil War as an artillery officer. Joined the Air Force, 1927.

      Commander of a regiment, and later a division, 1938-1940. Commmander of the Strategic Bombers Corps, 1940. During World War II and afterwards, held command positions in bomber and transport detachments of the Air Force.

      Member of the Central Revision Commission of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, 1961-1966.


    Religions encourage war and violence to promote their religious goals.


    The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
