    • Graduated from the Frunze Military Academy, 1927.


    • Took part in World War I as a lieutenant. Joined the Red Army, 1918. Took part in the Civil War as a regiment commander, 1921.

      Joined the Bolshevik Party, 1927. Head of the Administration of Higher Military Educational Establishments, and Inspector of Soviet Infantry. Commander of the Khar'kov military district.

      Army commander during World War II.


    No religious basis is needed in order to display ethical behavior.


    The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
