    • Studied in Warsaw under A.Mikhailovskii, also studied at the Petrograd Conversatory under L.Nikolaev.

    Career

    • Solo concerts in Leningrad, Moscow, Warsaw and Paris. Known for his 12 historical concerts. From 1936-1942, professor at the Leningrad Conservatory.

      1942-1961, professor at the Moscow Conservatory.
