  • Tabidze, Titsian was born on March 21, 1895 in the village of Shuamta in Georgia.

  • Education

    • Graduated from Moscow University, 1917.

    Career

    • Became close to the Russian symbolist poets. In his native Georgia organized a group of symbolist poets, The Blue Horns (Golubye Rogi), 1915. Edited the publication of this group, Barrikady. Considered a classic author of Georgian poetry of the 20th century.

      A victim of the Gulag camps during the Stalin years. Rehabilitated posthumously.
