Eduard Zelenin, USSR Artist.
Zelenin, Eduard was born in 1938 in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovskaia Oblast’.
Studied at the Sverdlovsk Art School, 1954. Studied at the Repin Academy of Arts.
Moved to Leningrad, 1958. Expelled from the Academy for formalism. Returned to his birthplace, where he worked in various jobs.
Moved to Moscow. Played an active part in the non-conformist art movement. Clashed with the Soviet cultural authorities, and was expelled from the USSR. Moved to Paris, 1975. Many exhibitions all over Europe.
Visited Moscow, October 1988. Received a lot of attention from fellow artists.
