Regional engineer, Soil Conservation Service, unites states department of Agriculture, 1936-1937.

      Assistant chief of research, 1937-1938, chief, 1938-1953. Formerly with Bureau Plant Industry, Soils, and Agricultural Engineering. Past head tillage machinery laboratory section agricultural engineering research branch Agricultural Research Service.

      Lecturer, collaborator United States Department of Agriculture, from 1958. Received McCormick Medal for outstanding engineering contbrns. to agriculture, 1934.
