Associate with Henry Koehler, Junior, 1905, in organization of the St. Louis, Rocky Mountain & Pacific Company, which purchased and developed extensive coal mines and coking plants in Colfax Company and built 120 miles of railroad. With brother, Frank Springer, built Eagle’s Nest Dam, capacity 100,000 acre feet of water for irrigation.
