    • Graduate high school, Salem, Massachusetts, 1850. Architectural education in offices in Boston. Began practice there, 1856.

      In active practice in Providence, Rhode Island, since 1864.

    Career

    • Designed Rhode Island State prison, Providence county court house, Providence public library, Young Men’s Christian Association building, schools, hospitals, college buildings, business blks., private houses, etc. President Rhode Island Chapter American Institute Architects for many years. Secretary American Institute Architects, 1893-1899.
