    Career

    • Began as apprentice with Whittier Machine Company, Boston, later employed by Hook & Hastings Organ Company. Associated, 1888, with Edward Burgess, naval architect, who designed yachts Puritan, Mayflower and Volunteer, defenders of the international prize trophy. Succeeded to business, upon death of partner, 1891.

      Director Rockport Granite Company.
