With Ohio State University, since 1885, successively assistant in mechanic engineering and drawing, until 1891, assistant professor drawing, 1890-1893, associate professor, 1893-1899, professor architecture and drawing, 1899-1906, professor architecture, since 1906, was also university architect, 1911-1929.

      Architect for Emerson McMillan Astronomical Observatory, Archaeol. and History Museum Building, and over 40 other buildings and campus improvements of Ohio State University. Ohio State Building, Jamestown Exposition, 1907.
