    • Began as messenger for Barrows, Millard & Company, bankers, Omaha, Nebraska, 1863. Teller Millard, Caldwell & Company, 1864, and later partner Caldwell, Hamilton & Company. Served as cashier Vice-President United States National Bank, becoming president, 1897, then Chairman of the Board.
