    • Removed to Chicago, 1856. Employed as bookkeeper and cashier for Ross & Ramber, dry goods, and later with Armour & Company until 1881. One of the organizers and incorporators, 1883, of the Continental National Bank, of which was many yrs president and later Chairman, Board Of Directors.
