      Bought State National Bank, Lincoln, 1892, and merged same with American Exchange National Bank, of which was president. Bought 1st National Bank of Lincoln, 1899, and merged same with American Exchange National Bank under name of 1st National Bank of Lincoln. Bought Columbia National Bank, 1907, and merged same with 1st National Bank of Lincoln.

      Organized 1st Savings Bank of Lincoln, 1907, 1st Trust Company, 1912. Now Chairman of the Board First National Bank and First Trust Company of Lincoln. Vice president Lincoln Telephone & Telegraph Company.
