    Career

    • Joseph E. Brown, governor of Georgia, 1861-1865, and sister of Joseph M. Brown, governor of Georgia, 1909-1912. Assistant surgeon 1st Georgia Regiment, C.S.A., Civil War. Settled in practice in Atlanta, Georgia., 1872.

      Was chairman 1st Board of Health, Atlanta, and member Board of Education. Now retired from practice. Trustee Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky.

      Member Home Mission Board, Southern Baptist Convention Home: 53 Ashby St. Office: Connally Building, Whitehall St., Atlanta, Georgia.
