    Career

    • 8, 1873 (died 1899). Came to the United States, 1852. Resided in Rock Island and Knox companies, Illinois, 1852-1859, removing to Boone Company, Iowa, 1859, engaging in merchandising and live stock business at Mineral Ridge, until 1870. then in business at Boone, Iowa. President City Bank of Boone.

      Iowa In 1901 built memorial library and presented to city of Boone. Was instrumental in securing large park for Augustana College, Rock Island. Illinois, named Ericson Park.
