    • Bar, 1885, and practiced about 3 years with United States Senator Albert J. Hopkins and with his partners, N. J. Aldrich and F. H. Thatcher. Later alone and as member firm Aldrich, Winslow & George. Largely engaged in commercial and business affairs.

      Vice president Old Second National Bank, 1891-1895, president (succeeding father) since 1895. Owner of George Stock Farms and breeder of pure bred stock. Also president Aurora Cotton Mills, Bankers Mutual Fidelity & Casualty Company, Chicago.

      Vice president for Illinois National Surety Company.
