    Career

    • Farmer since boyhood and now owns 3,000 acres in Sullivan Company, Missouri. Formerly extensive cattle feeder. Started breeding Hereford cattle about 1890.

      Won most of prizes offered for cattle, with show herd at St. Louis Exposition, 1904. Herd now one of the foremost in the United States. Organizer, 1888, and president Harris Banking Company.

      Director various banks, Missouri, Texas and Montana Trustee Harris (Missouri) School.
