    • Clerk, later cashier, 1st National Bank, Suffield, 1872-1891. Cashier Aetna National Bank, Hartford, 1891-1899, president, 1899, and after consolidation of Aetna National Bank with Hartford National Bank, as the Hartford Aetna National Bank, president of latter until consolidation with United States Security Trust Company, 1927, then chairman of the executive committee. President Alfred Spencer Company.
