    Career

    • Began with Union National Bank, Chicago, 1887. Continuing until its consolidation with the First National Bank in 1900. In employ of First National Bank until 1904, when organized and became cashier of Union Stock Yards State Bank.

      Later organized and was elected president Lake View Trust & Savings Bank. Cashier National City Bank, 1907-1909, vice president, 1909-1924, president, 1924. Upon consolidation of National City Bank with National Bank of the Republic, 1924, was elected president of latter, and upon consolidation with Standard Trust & Savings Bank, 1928, was vice chairman of board National Bank of Republic until consolidated, 1931, with Central Trust Company as Central Republic Bank & Trust Company, and was vice Chairman of the Board and director until resigned, February 1933, to become president Moline National Bank.
