Father was raised in a non-Orthodox Semitic household, and after the war when he married Mum he agreed to practice agnosticism within the household; however publicly the family joined the Unitarian Church.. Ever the deterministic pragmatist, he still treasured the mystery of life and pursued a thirst for greater understanding throughout his life.
Father was a free thinker of his time. Although conservative in action, he was very adamant about socializing the wealth and well being of the populace. He also believed that Media had a public trust to investigate government and question authority whilst simultaneously providing a means for disseminating real truth into the voting population for the purposes of empowering well informed voting and a fully educated political participation. He was very frustrated with Henry Kissinger's handling of the Viet Na'am War, as well.
