With Ward-Leonard Electric Company, 1893-1900, designed and patented complete line of rheostat theater dimmers and circuit breakers for control of electric current.

      Chief engineer General Incandescent and Arc Light Company, designed and patented apparatus for distribution of high tension currents and automatic safety devices for control of same, large central station equipment, remote control switches and switchboard apparatus used by Commonwealth Edison Company, Chicago and Brooklyn, New York Edison Company, etc. Construction engineering General Electric Company, 1903-1908, designed and patented automatic machinery for reproduction of music played on piano and for manufacturer of music rolls for use in piano players. Engineer heating department General Electric Company, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 1908-1914, designed and patented complete line of electric heating devices for domestic and industrial use.

      Member firm, chief engineer and factory manager S. Sternan & Company, Brooklyn, 1914-1917. Superintendent enamel factory of Lalande & Grosjean Company, Woodhaven, Long Island, 1917-1920. Construction engineering since 1920.

      Has taken out over 100 patents in the United States and foreign countries.
