      Div. engineer Kentucky Central and C. & O. Rys., 1881-1885. Div. engineer, 1885-1886, principal assistant engineer, 1886-1887, chief engineer, 1887-1894, E.T.V. G. Railway. Also chief engineer Memphis & Charleston R.R., 1887-1894.

      Superintendent maintenance of way and structures, western district, 1894-1897, assistant general superintendent maintenance of way, 1898-1900, engineer bridges and buildings, 1900-1904, chief engineer maintenance of way and structures, 1904-1911, now special engineer Southern Railway Company.
