Superintendent construction and engineer for Furnaceville Iron Company in connection with improvement of state canals, Western div., 1897, and on completion of work, with Union Bridge Company at Athens, Pennsylvania, until 1899, when re-entered state engineer’s department, New York, as assistant engineer Eastern div.

      Later promoted 1st assistant, then to resident engineer, and in 1901 to div. engineer Eastern div. State engineer, New York, 1904-1907. V.-p. Acme Engineering & Contracting Company.

      President Sterling Iron & Railway Company.
