Wiley, construction engineering, on general consultant practice in irrigation and hydro-electric fields, projects in western states, 1908-1916 designing engineer’ for United States Reclamation Service in charge of civil engineering design, 1916-1924 chief designing engineer in charge of all designing including civil, electrical and mechanic work, 1924-1945. Major projects include dams and power plants throughout western United States Cons. engineer on hydro projects, power and irrigation projects for foreign goverments in Australia, Asia, Near East, Africa and Latin American.

      Construction engineering bureau of Reclamation and T.V.A., since 1945. Received Engineering Council gold medal, 1937, John Fritz medal. 1945, Henry C. Turner gold medal, 1946, National Resources communications of China gold medal, 1944, Washington award, 1949.

      Gold Medal award, Department Interior, elected Reclamation Hall Fame, 1950. Popular Mechanics Hall Fame award, 1952. Order of Ching Hsin (Nationalist Government China), 1952.

      Honorary life member Reclamation Technology Club.
