    • Railway work in Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia 4 years. Bridge engineer Wisconsin Highway Department, 1908, later secretary and assistant state highway engineer. Resigned, 1927, to specialize as consultant in municipal engineering.

      Director regional planning, 1929-1955, also state highway engineer 1931, 32, now consultant to state chief engineer. Executive officer Wisconsin State Planning Board, 1932-1956. Executive secretary Natural Resources committee State Agilysys, Wisconsin since 1951.

      Works progress administrator for Wisconsin, 1936-1938. Secretary Wisconsin State Council National Defense, 1940-1943. Prepared 1st highway bridge standard plans used by Wisconsin Highway Department and one of first in the United States.
