Chairman St. Louis & O’Fallen Coal Company, since 1936. 1st vice president and director Adolphus Hotel, Dallas, Texas, from 1926.

      Serving as Lieutenant (senior grade), United States Navy Reserve, from 1942. On inactive duty for duration and 6 months thereafter, since September 1944. Deputy sheriff of St. Louis County, from 1928.

      Chief of police, Huntleigh Village, Missouri, 1929-1941. Director St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce, 1930-1942.
