    • Came to the United States at age of 11, and shortly after secured job at peanut stand. Various positions in peanut business, and in 1906, with M. Peruzzi, organized Planters Peanut Company and became president and manager. Incorporated in 1908 and name changed to Planters Nut & Chocolate Company, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, with branches New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Suffolk (Virginia), San Francisco (Toronto (Canada), Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Memphis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Newark, Pittsburgh and St. Louis.

      Director Suffolk Hotel Corporation.
