In this year he worked in Established Denver Alfalfa Milling and Products Company. From 1908 to 1938 he was a Vice-president, general manager. In 1938 he became a president. He worked there until 1946. In 1946 he worked in сonsolidated Pecos Valley and Denver Alfalfa Milling Company as National Alfalfa Dehydrating and Milling Company in Lamar, Colorado, United States. He served as chairman of the board since 1946. Floyd was a director of the first National Bank of Lamar National Bank in Denver, Colorado, United States. Floyd served in Kansas Volunteers Infantry in Philippine Islands from 1898 to 1899.
