      Adjutant general N.H. Militia, 1777, participated in Rhode Island expedition, 1778. Delegate from N.H. to Continental Congress, 1779-1780. Member N.H. constitutional convs., 1781-1783, 91-92, Chairman of Commission to draft N.H. Constitution, 1782-1783.
