      First lieutenant, July 24, 1862. First lieutenant Signal Corps United States of America, March 3, 1863. Bvtd. captain and major vols., March 13, 1865, “for faithful and meritorious services during the war”.

      Honorary mustered out, September 1, 1865. Miller and grain dealer.
