    • Solicitor, Easton, Pennsylvania, several years. President judge, 3d Judicial District, 1874-1875. Chairman Republican State Convention, 1882.

      Attorney general of Pennsylvania, 1887-1891. Member 55th Congress (1897-1899). Lecturer municipal law, 1875-1878, trustee since about 1889, acting president, 1902-1903, also president, 1914-1915, Lafayette College Home: Easton, Pa.
