      Postmaster of Bloomfield, Iowa, 1898-1902. State auditor of Iowa 3 terms, 1903-1909. Governor of Iowa, 1909-1911, 1911-1913.

      Chairman of the Board Commercial Finance Corporation. President Carroll Investment Company.
