James B. Frazier, American senator.
Frazier, James B. was born on October 18, 1856 in Pikeville, Tennessee, United States. Son of Thomas N. and Margaret (McReynolds) Frazier.
Bachelor of Arts, University of Tennessee, 1878, also graduate law department.
Admitted to bar, 1881, and began practice at Chattanooga, Tennessee Presidential elector-at-large, 1900 and 1920. Governor of Tennessee, terms, 1902-1904, 1904-1906. Elected United States senator, March 21, 1905, to fill unexpired term (1905-1911) of William B. Bate, and resigned as governor, March 27, 1905.
Married Louise Douglas Keith, January 10, 1883. Children: Annie Keith (Mistress.
