    • Brother of Eugene Blackburn G. Educated Cokesbury Conference school and Union College, Schenectady, New York (withdrew in senior year on account of ill health).

    Career

    • January 7, 1897. Admitted to bar, 1881, and since in practice at Abbeville, South Carolina.

    Politics

    There is a large range of issues where Church should interact with politics in such areas as poverty and inequality, environmental issues, nuclear and chemical weapons and the harm caused by use of drugs and drinking.
